Howdy and WELCOME!  I'm Lauren, and I love love love that you are here!  I'm a part-time natural-light portrait photographer based in Fairfax, Virginia. I love photography, and it is my passion and hobby where I can fully express myself artistically! My full name is an alliteration, beginning with L's (thanks, Mom and Dad), so out of that sentiment came Elle Three Photography!  

A few things about me: I'm originally from South Florida, I am a beach bum at heart, and I've always been the one who takes pictures of everyone, everywhere I go.  I love adventures that get me outside, traveling, CrossFit, hot vinyasa yoga, painting, naps, straight black iced coffee, my husband Chris, our boy Aiden, our pup Tola, and a nice bloody flat iron steak.  

I like to keep things simple: I am like a butterfly buzzing around you. There is no pressure posing, and we have a lot of fun. We will interact with each other, and you’ll have direction, without the awkward prom poses. I LOVE to capture the in-between moments, the moments that aren’t posed that you don’t even realize are there! That is where the real magic happens. I can’t wait to meet you!

I offer MINI sessions. 

All sessions are located in Centreville/Fairfax. All sessions occur in the afternoon. I only shoot on Saturdays. The Sunday in the same weekend is the rain date.

Mini sessions are $250, 20 minutes, and include 25 high-resolution retouched images. 

All images are delivered in a digital gallery with full client rights.

There is a $25 deposit to hold the date/time of your session choice, which goes toward your total session fee.  The deposit can be made through Venmo. For the remainder, I only accept cash or personal checks.

I only shoot on Saturdays. The Sunday in the same weekend is the rain date.

I do all of my editing in Adobe Lightroom. I keep things natural and only do minimal and minor facial touch-ups and can remove small distractions in the background. I do not use Photoshop.

I deliver a digital gallery to you within two weeks. 

I use a Canon 5D Mark III + 50mm f/1.4 + 35mm f/2.0.
